Origin Solidworks
At this point, the plane turns towards you, so you can have a good view on what you are drawing. In the middle you see a point with red arrows; this is what is called the ‘origin’ or the zero marker.
Put the cursor directly at the origin: it should look like the image on the right.
Click once with the left mouse button.
Move the cursor away from the origin. The radius of the circle will appear close to the cursor. Make sure this radius is approximately 15. When the cursor is at the right position, click again to draw the circle.
Next, we will add a dimen-sion. Click on ‘Smart Di-mension’.
